Product Description
SUPRAdisc module, P-series, SUPRA 80P media, 5 m² EFA, flat gasket
The SUPRAdisc™ module design concept combines the advantages of conventional depth filter sheets with the positive features of enclosed filters. SUPRAdisc™ modules can accomodate all Seitz™ P-series, HP-series and Bio-series depth filter media types.
• Simplified installation into filter housings.
• Easy to handle and dispose of after use.
• Reduced cleaning and cleaning validation.
SUPRAdisc™ module filter media Due to their excellent mechanical strength, almost all grades of depth filter sheets can readily be incorporated into SUPRAdisc™ modules.
P-series Seitz™ P-series depth filter sheets were specifically developed for the strict requirements in biotechnological and pharmaceutical industries. Manufactured with stringent in-process control methods assures consistent filtration quality, a very high purity of filter medium, and alignment with the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.
Bio-series Seitz™ Bio-series depth filter sheets are specially developed from highly purified natural and modified cellulose fibers and contain no inorganic materials such as diatomaceous earth (DE), perlite, or glass fibers. The lack of these inorganic substances significantly reduces the levels of ash and heavy metal extractables. HP-series Seitz™ HP-series depth filter sheets are comprised of two distinct layers of Seitz™ P-series depth filter sheets; a coarser layer upstream followed by a finer layer downstream. These performance-enhanced depth filter sheets have been designed for use in low viability, high solids containing applications. As small shifts in process conditions can cause dramatic differences in filtration requirements, the flexibility of combining any combination of Seitz™ P-series media in a Seitz™ HP-series format allows for improved process optimization. Filter selection The SUPRAdisc™ module product range can be found in the product table below. You can use the filters at the top of each column to narrow your search based on the following criteria. Retention rate Filtration area Depth filter type Please look at the brochure to review all possible filter options that you may require. We are on-hand to provide support with your filter selection for your process.
