The protein ASAP3 also known as AMAP3 is part of the ARF GAP (ADP-ribosylation factor GTPase-activating protein) family. It has a molecular mass of approximately 100 kDa and is known to regulate actin cytoskeleton remodeling. Expression of ASAP3 occurs mostly in epithelial tissues. ASAP3 functions as a GTPase-activating protein for ADP-ribosylation factors and plays a significant role in cellular processes such as migration and adhesion.
