CWC15 also known as CWC15 spliceosome-associated protein homolog plays a role in RNA splicing. It is a protein with a mass of approximately 16 kDa. CWC15 is expressed in various human tissues but it shows higher expression in hematopoietic cells. Its mechanical function involves facilitating the splicing of pre-mRNA by associating with the spliceosome a large ribonucleoprotein complex.
