AP1M1 also known as Adaptor-related Protein Complex 1 Mu 1 Subunit is a protein with a molecular mass of around 50 kDa. AP1M1 functions as a component of the adaptor protein complex 1 (AP-1). It plays an essential mechanical role in sorting and trafficking proteins by mediating the selection of cargo molecules for transport vesicles.
