ARHGDIG also called Rho GDP-dissociation inhibitor gamma is a regulatory protein that controls Rho GTPases by inhibiting the release of GDP. This protein has a molecular mass of approximately 23 kilodaltons. ARHGDIG is expressed in several tissues including the brain and hematopoietic cells where it plays a role in cellular processes mediated by the Rho family of GTPases.
