REACH authorisation
Abcam has not and does not intend to apply for the REACH Authorisation of customers' uses of products that contain European Authorisation list (Annex XIV) substances.
It is the responsibility of our customers to check the necessity of application of REACH Authorisation, and any other relevant authorisations, for their intended uses.
Lysate preparation:
Our lysates are made using RIPA buffer to which we add a protease inhibitor cocktail and phosphatase inhibitor cocktail (ratio: 300:100:10).
This means that the protein of interest is denatured.
If you require a native form of the protein please use the live cell version. Please refer to our lysis protocol for further details on how our lysates are prepared.
User storage instructions:
Lyophilizate may be stored at 4°C. After reconstitution, store at -20°C for short-term storage or -80°C for long-term storage.
This product is subject to limited use licenses from The Broad Institute, ERS Genomics Limited and Sigma-Aldrich Co. LLC, and is developed with patented technology. For full details of the licenses and patents please refer to our

The protein ARTD10 also known as PARP10 is a member of the poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) family. It exhibits a mass of approximately 100 kDa. ARTD10 acts mechanically as mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase which modifies target proteins by adding ADP-ribose units. This specific post-translational modification controls protein function and interactions. ARTD10 expression occurs mostly in the cytoplasm and nucleus across different cell types indicating its versatile functional roles.
Biological function summary
ARTD10 influences several cellular processes including transcriptional regulation and cell cycle progression. It functions independently without being part of a stable protein complex but interacts with other nuclear and cytoplasmic proteins to exert its role. This protein is involved in modulating cellular responses to DNA damage and stress impacting cellular homeostasis and metabolism. Its interaction patterns highlight its significance in cellular regulatory mechanisms.
Pathways
ARTD10 is an active participant in DNA repair and stress response pathways. It is closely linked with the NF-kB signaling pathway where it modulates inflammation and cell survival outcomes. ARTD10 also connects with proteins like PARP1 sharing a broader role in the maintenance of genomic integrity and response to DNA insults. These pathways underpin the critical mechanisms by which cells manage and adapt to damages and maintain cellular viability.
ARTD10's dysregulation associates with certain cancers and inflammatory conditions. Aberrant activity of ARTD10 impacts cellular proliferation and apoptosis linking it with tumorigenesis. Inflammation-related disorders also see a correlation with altered ARTD10 activity. This protein remains related to key proteins like NF-kB in understanding its role in these diseases as they collectively influence inflammatory and tumor progression pathways.
