RTP4 also known as Receptor Transporter Protein 4 plays a significant role in the endoplasmic reticulum where it facilitates the trafficking and proper function of olfactory receptors. It has a molecular mass of approximately 31 kDa. RTP4 expression is mainly found in the olfactory sensory neurons but also in various other tissues such as the brain and liver.
