Human FRZB ELISA Kit (sFRP-3) is designed for the quantitative determination of FRZB in cell culture supernatants, plasma and serum samples.
This assay employs an antibody specific for human FRZB coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and FRZB present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-human FRZB antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of FRZB bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm.

FRZB also known as secreted frizzled-related protein 3 (SFRP3) functions as a modulator of Wnt signaling pathways. This protein has a mass of approximately 36 kDa and serves as an antagonist to the Wnt proteins by binding to them preventing their interaction with cell surface receptors.
