The Hepatitis B Virus Surface Antigen commonly known as HBsAg is an important structural protein of the Hepatitis B Virus (HBV). This antigen is also referred to as Hep B surf Ab. Designed with a mass of approximately 24 kDa HBsAg is expressed extensively in the liver tissues of individuals infected with Hepatitis B.
