Ly6/PLAUR domain containing 8 (Lypd8) is a 100-120 kD GPI-anchored glycoprotein and a member of the Ly6/PLAUR family. Lypd8 is highly expressed on epithelial cells from intestinal lumen, where it prevents bacterial invasion by inhibiting bacterial motility by binding to flagella.

Recommended Usage: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunohistochemical staining on frozen tissue sections. For immunohistochemistry, a concentration of 5 µg/ml is suggested.
