Biolegend, 421203, ELISA Assay Diluent (5X), 100ml

ELISA Assay Diluent is a 5x concentrated phosphate buffered saline solution containing (pre-screened) bovine serum. This buffer is specifically formulated and tested for ELISA applications, such as blocking antibody-coated ELISA plate microwells, diluting ELISA standards and samples, and diluting biotinylated detection antibodies or tertiary reagents (specifically Avidin-HRP or Streptavidin-HRP). The diluent contains a preservative compatible with peroxidase mediated enzyme activity.

Storage & Handling: This solution can be stored unopened between 2°C and 8°C. After opening, it is recommended to use within 30 days or to be aliquoted and stored at -20°C (frost-free) or -70°C for long term storage. Warm ELISA reagents to room temperature (18-25°C) before use.

Recommended Usage: Prior to use, dilute the ELISA Assay Diluent (5X) in PBS, pH 7.4. PBS recipe: 8.0 g NaCl, 1.16 g Na2HPO4, 0.2 g KH2PO4, and 0.2 g KCl. Add deionized water to 1.0 L, filter through 0.2 µm filter, pH to 7.4
