Product Description

His tags are commonly used as a method of tagging proteins for detection or purification. This antibody is raised again a polyhistidine tag (6-His or hexa His-tag).
100microl
Verified Reactivity: Epitope tag
Reported Reactivity: Species independent
Antibody Type: Monoclonal
Host Species: Mouse
Immunogen: Monoclonal 6-His antibody was raised against a recombinant protein containing the sequence HHHHHH.
Formulation: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. Previous lots (B435499 and prior) may have been formulated in Phosphate-buffered solution + 0.03% Thimerosal + 50% Glycerol. For further information please contact BioLegend Technical Support or Customer Service.
Preparation: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Concentration: 1 mg/mL
Storage & Handling: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze.
Application: WB - Quality tested ICC, IP - Verified
Recommended Usage: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. For Western blotting, the suggested use of this reagent is 0.5 - 1.0 µg per mL (1:1000-1:2000 dilution). For immunocytochemistry, a concentration range of 0.5 - 1.0 μg/mL (1:1000-1:2000 dilution) is recommended. For immunoprecipitation, the suggested use of this reagent is 1:150 dilution. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Application Notes: The sequence of the protein flanking the poly His tag does not influence antibody binding. This antibody was subsequently purified via a protein-G column.
