Oligomerization of TIFA, which induces oligomerization and polyubiquitinylation of TRAF6, in turn activates TAK and IKK, finally mediates NF‐κB activation in the Toll‐like receptor 4/interleukin‐1 signaling pathway (PMID: 15492226; 22566686).
