OTUD1-mediated deubiquitination prevents activation of the ribosome quality control and subsequent dissociation of ribosomes and stimulates formation of polysomes and translation (PMID: 36445135). OTUD1 is a colon-specific deubiquitinase that expressed in normal colonic epithelium goblet cells (PMID: 36910614).
