Reagent DX is used to prevent foaming of samples during mechanical disruption while using the QIAamp UCP Pathogen Mini Kit, RNeasy Plus Mini Kit, RNeasy Plus Micro Kit, AllPrep DNA/RNA Mini Kit, and AllPrep DNA/RNA Micro Kit. Reagent DX has been carefully tested with the RNeasy Plus Mini Kit and RNeasy Plus Micro Kit, and has been shown to have no effect on RNA purity or on downstream applications.
