Sartobind® Rapid A capsules are a family of fully closed membrane chromatography formats designed for efficient mAb capture. The range of available sizes, directly scalable between each other, provides the necessary flexibility to accommodate different process demands.

Sartobind® Rapid A capsules integrate Sartorius agarose-based membrane functionalized with Protein A ligand in a fully closed format. The available bed volumes range from 1.2 mL to 200 mL, and the performance is directly scalable between consumable sizes. Sartobind® Rapid A is engineered for time and cost-efficient mAb purification, offering competitive binding capacity (typically between 40-50 g/L1) and low pressure drop. The capsules are ready for use, and with working residence times as low as 10 seconds, the set-up and processing time can be significantly decreased. The capsule portfolio is well-suited for process development and earlier clinical-phase manufacturing.
