Ganglioside GD3 also known as GD3 ganglioside is a sialic acid-containing glycosphingolipid. It has a molecular weight of approximately 1231 g/mol. This lipid is mainly expressed in the outer layer of cell membranes particularly in neural tissues and melanoma cells.
