TAM41 also known as TPRKB is a mitochondrial matrix protein with a molecular mass of approximately 41 kDa. It plays an important role in the biosynthesis of cardiolipin an important phospholipid for mitochondrial function. TAM41 is found mostly in the inner mitochondrial membrane where it actively participates in remodeling processes.
