Product Description
ACQUITY BEH Amide columns retain extremely polar compounds, including carbohydrates and sugars. Based on BEH technology the ACQUITY Amide columns offer a chemically stable, trifunctionally bonded amide phase that is stable from pH 2 to 12 to enable the separation of polar analytes that span a wide range of polarity, structural moiety and pKa.

Additional Information
ACQUITY UPLC BEH Amide Column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 50 mm, 3/pk Our ACQUITY UPLC BEH Amide columns have a chemically stable, trifunctionally joined amide phase based on Waters innovative ethylene bridging hybrid (BEH) particle technology. This gives HILIC (Hydrophilic Interaction Chromatography) separations a whole new level of stability and adaptability. For combinations of polar and ionizable chemicals, the utilization of unbonded BEH particles enables an orthogonal separation mechanism. ACQUITY BEH Amide columns retain extremely polar compounds, including carbohydrates and sugars. Based on BEH technology, the ACQUITY Amide columns offer a chemically stable, trifunctionally bonded amide phase that is stable across a wide pH to enable the separation of polar analytes that span a wide range of polarity, structural moiety, and pKa. The lab equipment is developed and proven to achieve efficient, repeatable separations under UPLC HILIC conditions, overcoming a significant shortcoming of the HILIC stationary phases, chemical stability. The ACQUITY BEH packing materials were created expressly for use with the ACQUITY UPLC System and are made in a cGMP, ISO 9001 accredited facility with ultra-pure reagents. Each batch of ACQUITY BEH packing material is chromatographically tested with acidic, basic, and neutral analytes, with results held within narrow specification ranges to ensure outstanding, repeatable performance. On the eCordTM Intelligent Chip, each column is independently examined, and a Performance Chromatogram and Certificate of Batch Analysis are provided. When compared to reversed-phase materials, the Waters ACQUITY UPLC BEH Amide lab equipment provides enhanced mass spectrometry response, direct compatibility with sample preparation eluates (PPT, LLE, and SPE), as well as orthogonal selectivity. We recommend that you invest in the ACQUITY UPLC BEH Amide VanGuard Pre-column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 2.1 mm X 5 mm, 3/pk so that it helps the lab equipment continue to perform at its optimum. The pre-column is made using the exact packing materials that are present in the column, making it an ideal fit for the analytical column.
