What Solvents Are Appropriate For Use With VanGuard Pre-columns? High-quality chromatography solvents should always be used in order to maximize column performance. Any solvents containing suspended particulate materials will generally clog the outside surface of an inlet distribution frit in your column, leading to higher operating pressure and poor performance.
