The low-ligand c18 lab equipment makes it possible for analytes to more readily access the pore structure of the material. This results in balanced retention of polar and hydrophobic molecules without the need for ion-pair reagents. Use the ACQUITY UPLC HSS T3 Column that enables a single chromatographic method that can be utilized to analyze a number of different and difficult formulation compositions. The ACQUITY UPLC HSS T3 Column also takes advantage of the Waters HSS (High Strength Silica) particle technology that was created to withstand UPLC pressures using a mechanically tolerant, silica-based material. The Waters HSS (High Strength Silica) particle technology uses an innovative synthetic process that significantly increases the mechanical stability of silica while maintaining pore volumes similar to that of HPLC silica-based materials. This results in increased retentivity compared to hybrid particle technology. Additionally, the HSS serves as the ideal substrate to create stationary phases that offer alternate selectivity. The ACQUITY UPLC HSS T3 Column is trifunctionally bonded to the HSS particle substrate, meaning it can provide excellent peak shapes as well as low-pH stability.
