Waters, 186010200, Long Edge Tilt Deepwell Domino

The Long Edge Tilt Domino is designed to hold a growing array of consumables used for various applications. It's lightly tilted design holds plates and reservoirs in place at a small descending angle from left to right (long edge), thus minimizing dead-volumes. The Andrew+ robot detects the use of this Domino and adapts dispensing and aspirating steps accordingly, specifically chosing to dispense towards the sides of the wells and aspirating from their bottom corner for optimal volume recovery.Dominos are machine-readable consumable holders that create the interface between a variety of different consumable types and the Andrew+ pipetting robot to enable seamless automation of many different laboratory workflows.
