ADAM15 also known as Metargidin is a member of the ADAM (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase) family of proteins. It has a mass of approximately 92 kDa. This protein is a transmembrane protein with metalloprotease activity which means it can cleave other transmembrane or extracellular matrix proteins. ADAM15 is expressed in various tissues including heart lung liver and kidney and is notably present in cells of the immune system and certain cancerous tissues.

ADAM15 influences cell adhesion migration and signaling pathways. It operates as part of both integrin-mediated and growth factor-mediated signaling complexes.
