CREB3L1 also known as OASIS is a transcription factor with a significant role in various cellular functions. It belongs to the CREB/ATF family and has a molecular mass of approximately 55 kDa. This protein is mainly expressed in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) of astrocytes bone cells and certain cancerous cells.
