Product details:
Human IL-10 ELISA Kit (Interleukin-10) ab185986 is a rapid single-wash 90-min ELISA kit to measure Human IL-10 in cell culture supernatant, serum, plasma. This SimpleStep ELISA® sensitivity is 1.4 pg/mL.
How the assay works
Human IL-10 SimpleStep ELISA® employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. See the SimpleStep ELISA® protocol summary in the image section for further details.
Assay Specificity
This kit is designed for the quantification of human IL-10. The standard protein in this kit is mature full length human IL-10. Native signal was detected in cell culture supernatant. Spike protein experiments were used to validate serum and plasma samples. Saliva, milk, CSF, cell extract and tissue extract samples have not bee tested with this kit. 50% pooled serum and plasma samples from healthy donors were measured in duplicate. All values were below the detectable range of this assay. 50% serum from 10 healthy human male donors was measured in duplicate. All values were below the detectable range of this assay.
Human IL-10 ELISA Kit (Interleukin-10) ab185986 protocol summary:
1. Mix: add samples/standards to the wells together with the capture and detector antibody cocktail. Incubate for 1 hr at room temperature
2. Wash
3. Add TMB development solution - incubate for 10 min
4. Add stop solution
5. Read the results on a plate reader at 450nm
