Ly6/PLAUR domain containing 8 (Lypd8) is a 100-120 kD, GPI-anchored glycoprotein, a member of the Ly6/PLAUR Family. Lypd8 is highly expressed on epithelial cells from intestinal lumen, where prevents bacterial invasion inhibiting bacterial motility by binding to flagella.

Application Notes: This clone recognizes Lypd8 from BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice.
