Product Description

CD157, also known as ADP-ribosyl cyclase 2, BST-1 (bone marrow stromal cell antigen 1), and BP-3 antigen, is an ectoenzyme member of the ADP-ribosyl cyclase family. It has a molecular weight between 40 - 46 kD and is a GPI-linked cell membrane glycoprotein which is expressed as a homodimer. CD157 is expressed by macrophages, neutrophils, bone marrow stromal cells, endothelial cells, follicular dendritic cells, and T and B cell progenitors prior to the rearrangement of the antigen receptors. Besides the ectoenzyme activity, it also plays a role in neutrophil migration and adhesion.
100μg
Verified Reactivity: Mouse
Antibody Type: Monoclonal
Host Species: Rat
Immunogen: Mouse CD157 transfected cells
Formulation: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide
Preparation: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Concentration: 0.5 mg/mL
Storage & Handling: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted between 2°C and 8°C.
Application: FC - Quality tested
Recommended Usage: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.25 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Application Notes: Clone W21013C does not affect the binding of clone BP-3 on target cells.
