Product Description

FcRn is a 43 kD transmembrane MHC class I-like glycoprotein. It forms the neonatal Fc receptor through a non-covalent association with β2-microglobulin. FcRn is expressed in the vascular endothelium, blood-brain barrier, kidney, and several leukocyte subsets, including monocytes, neutrophils, and dendritic cells. In association with β2-microglobulin, FcRn binds to human IgG, and transports maternal antibodies to the fetus antenatally across the placenta. In adults, FcRn plays a crucial role in extending the half-lives of IgG and albumin by recycling and preventing them from degradation. Additionally, FcRn can promote antigen presentation by enhancing IgG-mediated phagocytosis.
100μg

Application: ICFC - Quality tested FC, Block - Verified
Recommended Usage: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by intracellular immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For intracellular flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. For surface flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.5 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Application Notes: Clone S23035A can block the binding of human IgG to cell surface FcRn. Clone S23035A can detect FcRn on cell surface and intracellularly.
