Preparation: This buffer is bottled as 10X. To prepare a working solution (1X) dilute Western-Ready™ Transfer Buffer (10X) to 1X concentration (1:10 by volume). 1 part of Western-Ready™ Transfer Buffer (10X), 2 parts of 100% methanol, and 7 parts of DI water.
Storage & Handling: Upon receipt, store solutions at room temperature. Products are shipped at ambient (room) temperature.

Recommended Usage: Dilute Western-Ready™ Transfer Buffer (10X) to 1X concentration (1:10 by volume). 1 part of Western-Ready™ Transfer Buffer (10X), 2 parts of 100% methanol, and 7 parts of DI water.
Application Notes: This buffer is formulated for Western blot protein transfer. By direct PDVF membrane staining using Licor Revert 700 protein dye, we are able to detect as low as 25 ng/band on high and medium molecular weight proteins, and as low as 12.5 ng/band in low molecular weight proteins. The buffer is validated for protein transfer to both nitrocellulose and PVDF membranes. This buffer is only recommended for wet protein transfers. Western-Ready™ Transfer Buffer does not include any methanol.
