Product Description

TOX is a member of the high-mobility group (HMG) box superfamily of DNA-binding proteins and is originally identified as the thymic transcript expressed in CD4 + CD8 + double positive T-cells. TOX is also defined as part of a small subfamily of transcription factors consisting of TOX2, TOX3, and TOX4, which share conserved HMG-box sequences. TOX is highly upregulated in thymocytes undergoing positive selection and is required for the differentiation and development of various T-cell subsets, such as CD4 + T cells, regulatory T cells, and natural killer T cells (NKTs). TOX-deficient mice fail to develop lymph nodes and have significantly diminished numbers of CD4+ T-cells, NK cells, and ILC cells.
100μg
Verified Reactivity: Human
Antibody Type: Monoclonal
Host Species: Mouse
Immunogen: Human TOX recombinant protein (66-301 a.a.) expressed in E. coli.
Formulation: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
Preparation: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with Alexa Fluor® 594 under optimal conditions.
Concentration: 0.5 mg/ml
Storage & Handling: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted between 2°C and 8°C, and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
Application: ICC - Quality tested
Recommended Usage: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunocytochemistry. For immunocytochemistry, a concentration range of 1.0 - 5.0 μg/ml is recommended. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. * Alexa Fluor® 594 has an excitation maximum of 590 nm, and a maximum emission of 617 nm.
