Protein phosphatase methylesterase-1 (PME-1) is an enzyme that catalyzes the demethylation and inactivation of protein phosphatase (PP2A). PP2A is a heterotrimeric serine/threonine phosphatase that regulates proteins of oncogenic signaling pathways such as Raf, MEK and Akt. PP2A is associated with growth inhibition and cell cycle arrest.

Recommended Usage: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. For Western blotting, the suggested use of this reagent is 0.5 - 10 µg per ml. For immunohistochemistry, a concentration of 10 µg/ml is suggested. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Application Notes: This antibody is effective in immunoblotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue (IHC-P).
