Tetraspanins have been involved in diverse processes such as cell activation and proliferation, adhesion and motility, differentiation, and cancer. TSPAN10 belongs to the TSPANC8 subfamily, which also include TSPAN5, TSPAN14, TSPAN15, TSPAN17, and TSPAN33.
