It is involved in controlling patterning and neuronal circuit formation at the laminar, cellular, subcellular and synaptic levels. It also promotes neurite outgrowth of both axons and dendrites (PMID: 21946559). NTNG2 has two isoforms with molecular weights of 59 kDa and 47 kDa respectively.
