Product Description

nanoEase M/Z Peptide BEH C18 Column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 75 µm X 200 mm columns are designed for optimal performance for nano- to micro scale liquid chromatographic separation, offering the highest possible sensitivity, resolution and reproducibility for biomarker discovery and protein identification and characterization. Like all M/Z columns they withstand 15kpsi operating pressure and handle pressure fluctuations during injection extremely well and thus provide superior longevity. In order to achieve maximum performance, it is important to ensure that proper connections are made to minimize peak tailing and poor efficiency. This specific offering contains Waters patented BEH Technology 130Å pore, C18, 1.7 µm particles. The small-pore (130Å) trifunctionally bonded BEH particle offers the widest usable pH range, superior low pH stability, and ultra-low column bleed to assay samples for proteomics, protein characterization, and peptide synthesis. Each batch is specifically QC tested using a gradient separation of a tryptic digest of cytochrome c (p/n: 186006371) to before being QC accepted as a Peptide separation column. The columns are equipped with the ZenFit connector, an easy to use, fingertight, tool free liquid connection. This ensures reproducible, leak free connections. The fittings will fit into Waters V-Detail ports as well as into Rheodyne/Vici compatible valves. Suggested Uses: Bottom-up Proteomics, Nano-flow, Trap and Elute

Additional Information
nanoEase M/Z Peptide BEH C18 Column, 130Å, 1.7 µm, 75 µm X 200 mm, 1/pk Waters’ family of nanoEase M/Z Columns are designed for optimal performance in nano-scale to micro-scale liquid chromatographic separations for biomarker discovery as well as protein and peptide identification and characterization. The nanoEase M/Z Peptide BEH C18 Column offers MS detection under UPLC conditions up to 15 kpsi (1,000 bar) operating pressures, as well as handling pressure fluctuations during injection well, allowing for superior longevity. nanoEase M/Z Peptide BEH C18 Columns are equipped with a ZenFit connector. This easy-to-use, finger-tight, tool-free liquid connection is designed to ensure reproducible and leak-free connections between lab equipment . These fittings are compatible with Waters V-Detail ports, as well as fitting into Rheodyne/Vici compatible valves. ZenFit connectors are designed to improve the reproducibility of connections while minimizing dead volume in the flow path that can cause peak tailing and poor efficiency. This technology does not require user training or further special attention. This column has a 1.7 mm particle size and a pore size of 130Å, with an inner diameter of 75 µm and a length of 200 mm. Operating limits include a pH minimum of 1 and a pH maximum of 10. Other qualities are available such as the nanoEase M/Z Peptide BEH C18 Column, 300Å, 1.7 µm, 75 µm X 200 mm, 1/pk . Each package contains one column, and each nanoEase M/Z Peptide BEH C18 Column is individually tested to ensure that it meets stringer quality controls. These measures ensure each column reaches its full potential for sensitivity, resolution, and reproducibility for biomarker discovery as well as for identifying and characterizing peptides and proteins.

FAQ
What Mobile Phases and Buffers Should Be Used With nanoEase M/Z Peptide BEH C18 Columns? In order to maintain and ensure the maximum lifetime and performance of your column, only MS-grade solvents should be used.
Prior to use, filter all aqueous buffers through a 0.2 µm filter. For solvents containing suspended particulate materials, they may clog the inlet of the columns, leading to higher backpressure or distorted peak shape. Recommended buffers can be found in the Care and Use Manual provided with columns.
Only prepare small quantities of mobile phase into fresh, clean bottles. Do not top-up mobile phases.
