The protein CORO1B also known as Coronin-1B is an actin-binding protein involved in cellular structure and motility. CORO1B weighs approximately 55 kDa and is part of the coronin family. It is expressed in various tissues with strong expression in brain heart and skeletal muscle. Functionally CORO1B regulates actin cytoskeleton dynamics which is important for processes such as cell migration and maintenance of cell shape.
