STT3B also known as Dolichyl-diphosphooligosaccharide--protein glycosyltransferase subunit STT3B is an integral component of the oligosaccharyltransferase complex. STT3B weighs approximately 84 kDa. It predominantly resides in the endoplasmic reticulum of eukaryotic cells. This protein facilitates the transfer of glycan chains to nascent proteins which is essential for proper protein folding and stability during glycosylation process.
Biological function summary

STT3B is vital in the post-translational modification process as it participates in co-translational and post-translational N-linked glycosylation.
