The protein NCAPG2 also known as Condensin-2 complex subunit G2 is important to the mechanical processes within cells. NCAPG2 is a large protein with a mass of around 120 kDa. Expression is predominantly observed in proliferating tissues such as those in the bone marrow and thymus.
