SNPH also known as Syntaphilin is a protein that acts mechanically by binding to microtubules which is important for its role in anchoring mitochondria within axons. It has a molecular mass of approximately 66 kDa. SNPH predominantly expresses in neurons particularly in the brain suggesting its significant role in the nervous system.
