The ICOS Ligand also known as ICOSL B7-H2 and HK53 is a critical component in immune system function. This protein with a molecular mass of approximately 65 kDa is expressed on professional antigen-presenting cells such as dendritic cells macrophages and B cells. It plays a significant mechanical role in the immune response by engaging with its counter receptor the ICOS protein present on the surface of activated T cells.
