ARID1A also known as BAF250A is a protein encoded by the ARID1A gene and forms part of the SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complex. The molecular weight of ARID1A is approximately 270 kDa. This protein is expressed in many tissues but higher expression is noted in the liver kidney and placenta.
