K25 also known as Protein kinase 25 is a serine/threonine protein kinase with a molecular weight of approximately 57 kDa. This protein plays a role in several cellular processes by regulating signal transduction pathways. K25 shows expression mainly in tissues such as the brain heart and skeletal muscle. This localization can influence its involvement in cellular activities specific to these tissues.
Biological function summary
