C5orf51 also known as Chromosome 5 open reading frame 51 is a lesser-known protein that has a molecular weight of approximately 32 kDa. This protein is mainly expressed in the testis but lower levels of expression can be found in other tissues. It is a non-enzymatic protein indicating its role might not involve catalytic activity but possibly structural or regulatory functions.
