Human GCSF Receptor ELISA kit (ab277707) is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of Human GCSF Receptor in human serum, plasma (EDTA), cell culture supernatant, and cell and tissue extract. Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor receptor (GCSF-R), also known as CD114, is a protein encoded by the
gene. GCSF Receptor belongs to a family of cytokine receptors known as the hematopoietin receptor family. GCSF Receptor acts as a receptor primarily for granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (CSF3), which is essential for granulocytic maturation. Binding of CSF3 to GCSF Receptor initiates a conformational change in the receptor, which leads to activation of several downstream pathways including JAK/STAT, PI3K/AKT, and MAPK/ERK. Mutations in CSF3R have been associated in most cases of severe congenital neutropenia. The antibodies used in this kit were raised against the extracellular portion of the canonical isoform of GCSF Receptor, also known as GCSFR-1.
