CCR4 also known as C-C chemokine receptor type 4 is a G protein-coupled receptor with the molecular mass of approximately 41 kDa. It is predominantly expressed on the surface of T-helper 2 cells regulatory T cells and certain dendritic cells. CCR4 functions by binding chemokines such as CCL17 and CCL22 facilitating chemotaxis of immune cells to sites of inflammation.
