VEGF Receptor 1 also known as FLT-1 is a protein that plays a critical role in the regulation of angiogenesis. Its mass is approximately 180 kDa. FLT-1 is a receptor tyrosine kinase expressed mainly on the surface of endothelial cells but also in monocytes and macrophages.
