Integrin beta 1d also known as ITGB1D is a protein mechanically involved in cell adhesion and signal transduction processes. It is a splice variant of the integrin beta-1 subunit which forms heterodimers with various alpha subunits. Integrin beta 1d has a mass of approximately 88 kDa and is expressed predominantly in cardiac and skeletal muscle tissues. This expression pattern supports its specialized functions in muscle cell physiology.
