The 34-2-12 antibody recognizes α 3 domain of H-2D d MHC class I alloantigen expressed on nucleated cells from mice of the H-2D d haplotype. H-2D d is involved in antigen presentation to T cells expressing CD3/TCR and CD8 proteins. The 34-2-12 antibody cross-reacts with cells from the C3H.LG/Ckc strain. Reactivity with other haplotypes ( e.g., b,f,k,p,q,r,s) has not been reported. Clone 34-2-12 recognizes the α3 domain of D d .

Recommended Usage: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.25 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Application Notes: Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: complement-dependent cytotoxicity1, immunoprecipitation2,3, blocking of cell adhesion4,5, and immunohistochemical staining of acetone-fixed frozen sections6. This clone does not cross react with other haplotypes (e.g., b, f, k, p, q, r, s).
