Product Description

CD87, known as urokinase plasminogen activator-receptor (uPAR), is a 36-68 kD single-chain glycophosphotidylinositol (GPI)-anchored glycoprotein. The extracellular region of CD87 consists of three homologous domains, D1, D2, and D3. Membrane-bound and soluble (D2D3) forms of uPAR have been reported. The membrane-bound CD87 is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes/macrophages, dendritic cells, fibroblasts, endothelial cells and keratinocytes. CD87 plays a role in cell adhesion and chemotaxis through binding to β1, β2 and β3 integrins. CD87-bound uPA converts plasminogen to plasmin.

Verified Reactivity: Human
Reported Reactivity: African Green, Baboon, Cynomolgus, Rhesus
Antibody Type: Monoclonal
Host Species: Mouse
Immunogen: THP-1 (human myeloid cell line)
Formulation: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
Preparation: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.

Storage & Handling: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted between 2°C and 8°C.
Application: FC - Quality tested
Recommended Usage: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 1.0 µg per 106 cells in 100 µl volume or 100 µl of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Application Notes: Additional reported applications include: VIM5 mAb binds to uPA binding-domain
