Product Description

Ephrin type-A receptor 1 (hEpha1), also known as EPH tyrosine kinase belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein-tyrosine kinase family. The protein consists of 976 a.a. with a molecular weight of 108 kD. The Eph subfamily represents the largest group of receptor protein tyrosine kinases and is divided into two major subclasses: ephrin-A and ephrin-B. They have been implicated in various developmental processes, including axonal guidance, angiogenesis, morphogenesis and carcinogenesis and widely expressed in differentiated epithelial cells in the bone marrow, spleen, thymus, and testis.
