Product Description
CD25 is a 55 kD transmembrane protein also known as interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain. CD25 in combination with CD122 and CD132 form a high affinity IL-2 receptor that binds to IL-2, playing a crucial role in activation of JAK1/JAK3 and STAT5 signaling. It is expressed on activated T cells as well as on CD4+ T regulatory cells, some progenitor B-cells and activated monocytes.
100μg
Verified Reactivity: Human
Antibody Type: Monoclonal
Host Species: Mouse
Immunogen: Human CD25 transfected cells
Formulation: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide
Preparation: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Concentration: 0.5 mg/mL
Storage & Handling: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted between 2°C and 8°C.
Application: FC - Quality tested
Recommended Usage: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.25 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Application Notes: Clone S20019D can block binding of clone M-A251 on target cells and is blocked by M-A251. Clone S20019D does not block binding of clones S20019C, BC96, and TÜ69 on target cells. Clone S20019D does not affect binding of IL-2 to the receptor. Clone S20019D shows comparable CD25 staining on 4% formaldehyde-fixed cells compared to unfixed.
